CANDACE & KAHN | 15 September 2014

Candace and Kahn, front man for the South African rock band, the Parlotones, had a beautiful French country-style wedding with a rock star edge.

The wedding took place on a glorious Summer’s day and consisted of lots of laughter and fun, avoiding anything typically “wedding”!

Candace wore a gorgeous Pronovias dress with Babies Breathe adorning her softly curled hair. Carrying a spectacular bouquet, made for her by the Morrells Flowers and Fine Things team, and made up of Casablanca lilies,

peonies and roses, a lovely scent followed her down the aisle.

The cocktail seating in the reception created a sociable and relaxed atmosphere while the colourful country mix of flowers gave a unique and festive feel to the wedding.

A generous and fun cocktail menu included gourmet pizzas, burgers, mini pulled pork tacos, candy floss and truffle-infused popcorn.

Tanya and Warren’s wedding started with an unbelievable rainbow decorating the sky and a beautiful chuppah  dressed in jasmine. Exciting, sophisticated, romantic and elegant is a brief description of what this wedding entailed for the lovely couple.

All Stars worn by the Groom and his Groomsmen added a fun and personal touch. Tanya looked absolutely stunning in a timeless lace fit-and-flare gown and ballet slippers for her photographs. The epitome of a glowing bride with her beautiful entourage – this was an unforgettable retinue.

Whites, creams and hints of purple flowers were accompanied by fresh fruit giving the reception a fresh and sophisticated feel.

Guests were treated to a variety of cheeses and wine while the sun set in our rose gardens. The menu for the evening was a fun cocktail menu followed by a selection of decadent mini desserts.

The evening ended in our Bistro area with a roaring fire in the background and a quirky photo booth set up.

CORNE & GEORGE | 1 July 2014

With the roses in full bloom and blue hydrangeas adorning the Bistro area, Corne and George’s Sunday morning wedding personified timeless elegance and romantic sophistication.

Soft pastels and flowers were the theme for the summer-time reception, and hydrangeas, roses and delphiniums filled vintage silver teapots and cut-glass vases to create stunning arrangements on the tables.

Corne wore a magnificent Vera Wang gown and with a groom in a Tiger of Sweden suit, this couple looked effortlessly stylish and chic.

The guests were treated to a delicious cocktail lunch menu, finished off by a divine selection of mini desserts, including Corne’s favourite crème brulee!
