This was the first house built in Northcliff, a dairy farm at the time, which has now been lovingly restored by Mike and Bernice Morrell into an elegant retreat with seven beautifully decorated en suite bedrooms complete with the original wooden floors and pressed ceilings. Morrells Farmhouse exudes vintage charm of a bygone era. The house boasts a shady patio, as well as a cosy lounge and dining room area with built in fireplaces, available to in-house guests.
Hollandia, meaning ‘Netherlands’ has been named after the original Dairy Farm house. This country-style honeymoon suite offers pure luxury as it captures every essence of sweetness and romance. With a private and separate entrance, Hollandia offers a king size bed, walk-in dressing room and en suite bathroom boasting a large Victorian bath and spa shower as well as his and hers basins, that overlook one of two private courtyards with a tranquil water feature. Ample light floods the room through the bay window, just beside the reading corner and the coal stove is sure to keep you warm on those chilly winter evenings.
Usekuma is named after the ship that brought the original Dutch Settlers and owners of this home to South Africa in the early 1920’s. This country guesthouse room overlooks the beautifully manicured gardens of the Morrells Farmhouse while the charming décor leaves you breathless.
